Dust Control for Sask and Alberta
Safer and cleaner roads are a call away.
Road Spray Professionals
We measure our product litre rates by multiplying length by width by litre per meter, using a Garmin GPS for our meter lengths.
All Natural
Our solution is made from brine water, a product that is 100% natural at a 32%* calcium concentration metric. We spray the product with a tri-axle spray truck, equipped with and 10 meter width rate requirement.
Benefits
Cost-effective solution to maintaining dirt roadways and parking areas
Dust Control
Resume work quickly: reduce wait times in-between seasons
Safety: dust control improves the quality of soil and roads, supporting safer driving environments
Promote stability: roads treated with liquid calcium chloride remain stable and intact
Minimize frost heave for upcoming cold-weather seasons
More effective at melting ice than sodium chloride
Worried About Corrosion?
Our fleet has been directly exposed to the solution for long periods of time each year and it has had little to no negative effects.
The application rate is relatively low, so there is not much calcium chloride available to come into contact with passing vehicles.
The calcium chloride also tends to remain in the road bed. If it didn't, it wouldn't control dust very well because it would disappear from the road after a short while.
Vegetation?
Under typical application conditions, calcium chloride will not damage grass or vegetation adjacent to a road surface where dust control is applied. Our boom controls are very accurate with GPS and rate control so we have not had any issues with damage to vegetation.
Minimum Job Size
Please note that our minimum haul size is 10 cubic meters of solution. However, multiple people in the same general area will often schedule their dust control application to take place at the same time to meet the minimum haul requirement.
